I am currently nursing my 1 year old son, Littlest. He is at that stage where he really just nurses before and after naps and for comfort throughougt the day. Our goal is to self wean, and so I want him to nurse on his own terms. For that reason, I like to wear nursing apparel to make breastfeeding as accessible to him as possible. I have a small collection of nursing tops so when Belly Bedaine reached out to me and offered some of their products to try, I was thrilled! Trying a new brand is always an exciting thing.

About the Momveste 3 in 1 nursing top
Belly Bedaine has really gotten creative with this piece! The Momveste isn’t just a top, it is also a car seat canopy, nursing cover and cardigan! Depending how you wear it, it can be a regular top, or act as a quick cover to nurse under. The material is very stretchy and roomy, and you can flip the front over your head and wear it as a cardigan. When not worn, you can drape it over your car seat for a privacy screen or wind shield.
Belly Bedaine is a Canadian owned company based out of Quebec. Like all their products, the Momveste is Made in Canada and with beautiful modal and spandex fabric. It is available in two colours: Black, and White with Black stripes.
The nature of this design and stretch of the material makes it perfect as a maternity top as well. There is plenty of room for a baby bump, and postpartum the style will remain flattering.
How I use It
I love this as a classic top. It gives me plenty of room to nurse baby underneath, and I wear a tank top or other nursing top under my momveste. There is a cute little pocket where I store my hair elastics, or other little items. My favourite Oko Creations PUL-backed Breast pads fit too!
It is sold as One Size and, even as a plus sized mom (I wear 2X), the Momveste fits me beautifully. Most of the time when something is One Size, it doesn’t fit me. I was pleasantly surprised! This has become a wardrobe favourite and I find myself reaching for it whenever it’s clean.

The Momveste has a handy pocket that’s just the right size for hair elastics and breast pads!
I don’t have a bucket-style carseat anymore, as both Little and Littlest are in Covertible car seats, but the pictures I have seen for using this as a car seat canopy are very cute!
Washing is easy, I toss it in with my regular laundry. I put it in the washer on normal cycle with other dark colours, and dry on medium heat. I haven’t had any issues with fabric dulling, threads coming apart or losing its shape. It is a quality top that is worth the price tag.
Where to Buy
You can purchase Belly Bedaine line directly from their website, or from their retailers. My Affiliate, The Baby Footprint, sells this great product! You can pick it up today for about $54.00.
Dealing with Belly Bedaine has been a pleasure, and I’m so happy to have experienced their products. I highly recommend their Momveste, and stay tuned to my blog for another review coming soon of one of their Maternity/Nursing tops! Be sure to show this company some love and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
