Last year my favourite fold was the origami fold. I am using that a fair bit this year too, along with the Crooked Cape fold that I showed on youtube a while back, but the fold I’m truly embracing is the Padfold! The simple, quick, padfolded flat cloth diaper has really won me over.

It’s day two of the #flatschallenge and today’s prompt is “What’s in you stash? How much did it cost?” So, I’m going to breakdown what I’ll be using this week for the challenge. Gearing up for our Second Flats & Handwashing Challenge
Last year we did the Flats and Handwashing Challenge for the first time; it was an awesome experience! I’m excited to get going again on Monday May 14th for our next Flats Challenge. For one week I will pare down my extensive cloth diaper stash to just Flat Diapers and Cloth Diaper Covers. And most importantly, for that entire week I will forego my whirlpool front load washer and dryer and use only a Bucket, Plunger, Detergent and a Drying rack!
Journal Entry: 2 Carseats on an airplane
We are currently in California visiting family. It was a 3 hour flight to get here, and because we are renting a car while we are here we decided to bring our carseats. I also knew that my two children, ages 3 and 1, would not sit still for that long on a flight without being strapped into a 5 point harness.
