The Boba 4G is a Soft Structured Carrier suitable for 7-45lbs and comes in a sturdy, but comfortable, Canvas material in a variety of Patterns. This particular pattern is called Wear All The Babies and is grey with orange highlights. It retails for $162.95 but there are less expensive prints available, and this was a limited edition print.
A Soft Structured Carrier (or SSC) contains buckles and straps which make it very easy to use. The Boba 4G has padded shoulder straps and is adjustable in 4 different places. It fits everyone in my family (a plus sized mama, my slim 12 year old son, and my Stocky Husband too) with very simple adjustments.
What comes with it
This carrier includes a detachable hood, with reach straps that can snap onto the shoulder straps to be held in the “up” position. It can even be tucked into a zippered pouch when not in use but I typically leave it hanging down.
It also includes an Infant Insert that snaps into position (no need to purchase a separate insert for that brief newborn stage!) and a set of foot rest straps for older toddlers with dangling legs.
The versatility of this carrier is a step above, just because of the included accessories. The manufacturer has really thought this through and provided a one-stop option from birth to toddler. It even has PURSE STRAP HOLDERS (you read that right) to keep any bag you are carrying from slipping off your shoulder.
Fully adjustable and Fits my whole family
The waist belt is adjustable from 25-58 Inches which was important to me as a plus sized gal. But nonetheless, it sizes down quite easily to comfortably fit my slim 12 year old who enjoys wearing his baby brother too. Also, on the front of the waist belt is a zippered pocket which holds my cell phone and cash perfectly.
All in all I am very happy with this carrier. We use it almost daily and it has helped us both around the home and on many family outings. I started using it when my son was 10 months old (he was in size 9 months Clothing at the time). Stay tuned for an update of this review when I start using it on my newborn due in October 2016.

you had my attention at purse straps.. one of my huge pet peeves.
Such a brilliant feature!
I am researching on baby carriers for my 9 month old. Boba 4g looks to be sturdy despite being a soft structured one. I haven’t seen a Purse Strap Holder feature in any of the carriers I have researched on yet..I will keep this one in mind…
I love the pocket & that its large enough for some money and a cell phone! That would be extra helpful to not have to put all that in my pocket or carry the diaper bag all the time. I love the hood and the newborn insert… I haven’t tried those on a carrier yet, but with this new little one coming & it getting warmer out, I think those would be helpful!
Why do the shoulder straps on my bibs 4g slip
I haven’t had any issues at all with my Boba 4g straps. Are you buckling and tightening the chest clip?
