I recently shared a post about overnight cloth diapers and Jessica at Carry Me Mommy reached out to let me know about one she sells that is a real hit with heavy wetters! Here is the Easy Peasies Dry-nights AIO cloth diaper! I have thoroughly tested this diaper on my 11 month old, and am excited to share with you my findings.

The Easy Peasies Dry-nights AIO cloth diaper is made in Canada of hemp/cotton and fits 6-45lbs
The Details: Easy Peasies Dry-nights AIO
Canadian cloth diaper company Easy Peasies has come up with a new overnight cloth diaper solution for heavy wetters. It is made of 12 layers of super-thirsty hemp/cotton blend, my favourite material for overnights. The stretchy, high quality PUL comes in many prints and colours, and the 5 by 3 rise snaps adjust to fit 6 to 45lbs.

Fully unsnapped, you can see the 3×5 rise gives tons of size range- and the double waistband has two crossover snaps
The wings are wide with 2 rows of waist snaps and two crossover snap settings for newborns. The hemp inserts, one full snake-like insert and one fleece topped smaller insert, snap in and out of the shell at the front or back for easy customization and washing/drying.
Specifically an Overnight Cloth Diaper
This diaper claims to out-perform existing overnight diapers on the market, and the forethought is very evident throughout the diaper’s design. You can tell that they’ve considered common issues like flooding and leg leaks in addition to the absorbency requirements.

Here is the shell without the snap in inserts. Be sure to fold down the attached lining first when using rise snaps
One unique feature is a hemp soaker sewn right into the center of main fleece lining. This shell, in combination with the fleece topped hemp booster, could likely work on its own for newborns and save the bulky additional insert for later. The fleece slows down pee to allow absorbtion, and also acts as a stay dry layer for baby’s sensitive skin.
Easy Peasies diapers all have the gathered leg ruffles with gentle elastics. This particular diaper has excellent coverage even with all the layers inside, and I get no leg gaps with these elastics. This surprised me, because often bulky overnight solutions push the shells out causing gaps. Not here! The shell is quite roomy.

Two inserts are included. The hemp will shrink slightly and gain absorbency with washing. The stay dry fleece top on the small insert is a bit loose once the hemp underlayer shrunk.
How we used it
This diaper has a bit of a learning curve, but once I chose a good setting and way of assembly, it became easier to use. There is a LOT of diaper here! At the time of testing, my Littlest is 11 months old and 18.5 pounds. He is long and lean, and fits well on the second smallest rise setting, using both available inserts. He sleeps 12 hours at night and rarely wakes to nurse. He is, what I consider, a heavy wetter, but no longer the ultra-super-soaker that he was while night nursing.

Here is everything fully assembled using both inserts and the rise on the second setting
We snap the main snake-insert at the front, and fold it in half. We then snap the fleece topped small insert to the back, and fold the front as needed to fit under the tummy band. The key to a trim fit was folding the attached soaker/liner downwards first, to accommodate the use of the rise snaps, and pushing excess material up on the front under ther snaps. This way, the snap on inserts lay on top easier.
The assembly is a bit complicated for caregivers, but as long as I put it together myself ahead of time, both my mom and my husband have put it on at bedtime without issues.

The fit is great on my somewhat lean 11 month old, currently 18.5lbs
We have used this diaper at least 6 times overnight and even a few times during the day. Surprisingly, it held up for a 2 hour daytime use with just the shell (and it’s sewn-in insert) and small insert! I only did it once, though, as we wanted to use this specifically for overnights- as it’s intended. I have not had any overnight leaks with this diaper, and in my opinion there is absorbency to spare each morning.
The final Verdict
Overall, this diaper is a winner for me. It successfully stood up to our 12 hour overnight testing, and it fits well. The diaper is really cute and the price is right for what you get, at C$39.99. There’s a lot a hemp/cotton in this diaper so I’m happy with the price, as I don’t need to add my own boosters.
What I Love
- The gentle ruffled elastics on the legs holds in wetness and poops without issues and without gaps.
- The dual row waistband gives a great fit on both tummy and hips, and I love the TWO columns of cross over snaps.
- There is a Waterproof panel inside the front waistband, which is great for my tummy sleeper.
What I Love Less
- It’s definitley bulky, but most overnight solutions are when dealing with a heavy wetter. Our pajamas all fit, though, and he isn’t uncomfortable.
- It takes some practice to assemble and fit it right, but we managed just fine.

Here on the smallest setting with just the shell and booster, I believe this would probably have fit my son after his umbilical fell off

Ok so I purchased 2 of these from Carry Me Mommy in August and started using them on my 10 month old currently 26 lb baby boy. I washed them 4 times before our first wear. We woke up with wet mornings because although he no longer nurses and sleeps right through his full 12 hours, he has his milk before bed and that’s it for the night. But he wakes up soaked around the legs and the tummy. I gave it time, washed another 6 times but continuously wearing them over night and continuously waking up wet. So my question is, how many times did you need to wash yours to ensure a dry morning with your baby? I’m at the point where we have all the inserts snapped in and the long insert snapped in and folded in half and a GroVia ONE insert placed in the middle for extra absorbency. Unfortunately the gap in the legs is then too big and we have a leak. I’m hoping that the more washes we have the more absorbent they will become. My baby is a super soaker tho, so I do honestly believe this diaper is really great but just not for my baby. But I really enjoyed reading your review, thank you for sharing your experience!
Hmm. Sounds like you have a super-soaker! We prepped with only one full wash routine (my standard routine: quick wash, line 1 tide powder, cold then heavy wash, line 4 tide powder, hot, borax with both cycles due to hard water.) It felt much more saturated the first morning so I assume we reached full absorbency after the second wash. I’m sorry that it’s not working for you.
If you are adding a booster, you could consider a large thirsties hemp insert. It’s trim enough, I have it in there tonight to see how it fits for you, plus it reaches wider than the GroViaONE insert to the edges of the leg elastics. I’m not seeing gaps with this on my guy. Thirsties Large Hemp inserts come in 2 packs which is nice. My only other suggestion would be a Disana wool cover over top. If you are local I’d love to lend you one!
So which would be thirstier? Bamboo or hemp? I’m thinking I will try your recommendation on the hemp and see if that helps. Also Carry Me Mommy also sent me a couple links to YouTube to ensure I was finding the right fit for my LO’s size. So I checked them out and am going to try the advice of folding the frills inwards aroundthe legs. I live in Edmonton, AB ? otherwise I would definitely borrow a woolen cover to try because I’ve actually been thinking about trying that over the diaper as well.
But thank you for your response and advice! What company do you recommend purchasing the hemp inserts from as I will be looking online for those shortly.
Fit is important for sure, so it’s great that she shared those links with you. You are welcome to message me any time too if you want fit checks on pictures or even video chat.
Hemp will hold more with less bulk. Lagoon Baby and Cozy bums are my affiliates closest to you that have the Large Thirsties Hemp inserts (2 pack for 11.95). My affiliate links are http://bit.ly/lagoon4u and http://bit.ly/cozybums4u if you feel like using me as an affiliate 🙂
Lagoon Baby also has Disana covers which are quite affordable (about $22) and they come pre lanolized so you can try them right away. If you continue with the wool then eventually you will need to buy Lanolin for after washing, but you can wash the wool with your baby shampoo.
Thanks fr sharing such a detailed review,i occasionally love to order a new diaper for my grandson and these sound like great quality !
I wish I could get into cloth diapers but we don’t have a washer or dryer currently. This looks like a great diaper!
I used a portable washing machine when I first started and it worked well. Also If you’re ever feeling bored check out my blog posts about the Flats and Handwashing Challenge I Did this spring. it was surprisingly doable!
Thanks for sharing such a thorough review. Will keep thidnone in mind for the stash building.
