The ez pz Mini Mat

I purchased our Mini Mat locally at Nature’s Baby Basket here in Calgary. The retail cost is under $30 canadian and we got it on sale. It also fits nicely into a wetbag for storage, so of course I took the opportunity to pick up an Applecheeks size 1 zip as well! I’m not a wet bag addict or anything, I swear.

I couldn’t wait to try it out and I have not been disappointed. It has been a hit! It’s so easy to put a few bites of whatever I’m eating right into the mat and let Lucas go to town. He gets to learn about the idea of plates and bowls without the mess and throw-factor.

Perfect Design for Little Meals

There are two 2oz sections and one 4oz which holds just the right amount of food without overwhelming tiny tummies. I should mention the suction doesn’t work on my particular tray but this hasnt been an issue. It suctions to our wood tables beautifully, however, and to the high chair trays at IKEA when we went.

It does come with a case, but fits nicely in a cute wetbag so I can keep it in the diaper bag without worry of mess. At home I just pop it in the dishwasher.

There are no hard to clean crevices so it gets completely cleaned and sanitized in my dishwasher without issue. It also stores easily because it’s relatively flat. I keep it on its side in my tupperware drawer. It’s made of 100% food grade silicone and is BPA and phthalate free.

I was so pleased with our Mini Mat that I looked into the company’s other products.

They have a larger mat available too, The Happy Mat, for when kids are at the table. I think I will pick one up for my 2.5 year old’s wooden Toddler Table because he makes such a mess. The Happy mat measures 15″×10″. They also have a bowl, with attached mat, called the Happy Bowl for cereal and soup.
