Day 3 – My Favourite Flat Diaper Fold
It’s day 3 of the 2017 Flats and Handwashing Challenge hosted by Cloth Diaper Revival. Todays topic is “your favourite flat diaper fold” and I’m eager to share some of mine with you.
My long time favourite has been the Origami fold. I love how the extra fabric on the wings gives me plenty of room to Jelly Roll the legs. You can even tie the wings closed if you don’t have a Snappi!
In preparation for the challenge, I looked up tutorials on many flat folds. I learned some new ones like the Airplane fold and Kite fold. I also tried the Happy Anteater fold today at the suggestion of Simply Mom Bailey. It worked really well and is similar to my beloved Origami fold.
My preference is for folds like the Origami and Padfold because it gives me lots of layers up front for my heavy wetting Boy.
List of folds I’ve used so far this challenge
- Origami fold
- Pad fold
- Kite fold
- Happy Anteater Fold
