It’s day 4 of the #flatschallenge and honestly, I’m not really finding it difficult at all. Blogging about it, editing graphics, that’s the hard part, haha! I’m not bothered by the diaper changes and handwashing and it’s fit into my week no problem. Although, unlike many others doing the challenge, I was every other day. Not daily.

2018 Flats & Handwashing Challenge – Day 3: Favourite Folds
Last year my favourite fold was the origami fold. I am using that a fair bit this year too, along with the Crooked Cape fold that I showed on youtube a while back, but the fold I’m truly embracing is the Padfold! The simple, quick, padfolded flat cloth diaper has really won me over.
2018 Flats & Handwashing Challenge – Day 2: What’s in your flats stash? How much did it cost?
It’s day two of the #flatschallenge and today’s prompt is “What’s in you stash? How much did it cost?” So, I’m going to breakdown what I’ll be using this week for the challenge. I’m very happy with this little stash! It includes some low cost cotton muslin flats, as well as some more luxurious stretchy bamboo flats.
Flats & Handwashing Challenge – Day 1: Why are you taking the challenge?
1 in 3 American families cannot afford to diaper their babies. The Flats and Handwashing Challenge aims to bring awareness to a very real and doable diapering solution that is affordable, and easier than it looks.
Gearing up for our Second Flats & Handwashing Challenge
Last year we did the Flats and Handwashing Challenge for the first time; it was an awesome experience! I’m excited to get going again on Monday May 14th for our next Flats Challenge. For one week I will pare down my extensive cloth diaper stash to just Flat Diapers and Cloth Diaper Covers. And most importantly, for that entire week I will forego my whirlpool front load washer and dryer and use only a Bucket, Plunger, Detergent and a Drying rack!
A week of Hand Washing Cloth Diapers: What I’ve learned
All good things must come to an end! All week I have been participating in the #flatschallenge hosted by Cloth Diaper Revival. It’s been quite the experience and for this final blog topic I’ll be sharing what I have learned. This challenge has been really fun and educational!
Flats & Handwashing Challenge Day 6: What’s Working and What Isn’t
It’s day 6 of the #flatschallenge hosted by Cloth Diaper Revival. I totally skipped my blog post for day 5, because it was Friday and it was an awesome day of family time at our local lake. I was just too tired to write anything after that. Fear not, though, Day 5 with flats was awesome too! I did put up pics and a video on instagram and facebook. Now for Day 6, I will share with you what is working for me, and what isn’t, during the challenge.
Flats and Handwashing Challenge Day 4: My Hand Wash Routine
Curious about how to hand þřř4wash cloth diapers? I was too, which is one reason why I’m participating in the Flats and Handwashing Challenge, hosted by Clothdiaperrevival.com. This is day 4 of the challenge and that means 4 days of handwashing my flat diapers. I’m pretty sure that I’ve got my routine nailed down.
Flats and Handwashing Challenge Day 3: Favourite Flat Fold
Day 3 – My Favourite Flat Diaper Fold It’s day 3 of the 2017 Flats and Handwashing Challenge hosted by Cloth Diaper Revival. Todays topic is “your favourite flat diaper fold” and I’m eager to share some of mine with you.
Flats & Handwashing Challenge Day 2
What’s in my stash and how much does it cost? I’m participating in the 2017 Flats and Handwashing Challenge, hosted by Cloth Diaper Revival. As a blogger, I’m tasked with sharing my thoughts each day with an assigned topic. Today I’m going to share with you the flat diapers and covers that I’m using for the challenge, and their cost.
